He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merritt Lee and Bertha Jane Read (Harrington); his wife Jean Salmon; his children, Jeri Turpin (John) of Camdenton, MO, Jeanie Dudley (Kevin) of Cross Plains, TN, Jan Hagler (Rex) of Coffey, MO, Janie Travis of Pattonsburg, MO, Jimmy Read of Pueblo, CO, Jeff Read of Coffey, MO and Joe Read of Pattonsburg, MO; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Lincoln, Dustin, Christopher, Michael, Sarah, Kelly, Duffy, Adam, Rachel, Clinton, Angelina, Dakota, Cheyenne, Jaimie and Jared. He was also cherished by 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
