He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave E. Carlson and Marie C. Brostom; his son Neal E. Carlson; and his grandson Tyler Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Thelma M. Carlson; his children, Dale Carlson (Rebecca) and Brian Carlson (Angela); and his grandchildren, Eric Carlson (Tracy), Lindsay Carlson Zeiter (Teddy) and Sloane Carlson Wefelmeyer (Michael). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center (5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Charles, MO 63304). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Atonement in Florissant, Missouri.
