He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Thomas and Nona Leona Mason (Perry); his daughter Susie Marie Frost; and his sisters, Leona Dunlap and Alice Blankenship.

He is survived by : his wife Rita; his son George; his daughter-in-law Darcie Mason; his daughters, Penny Broiler and Carol; his son-in-law Elvin Whitehead; and his stepdaughter Beth Ann Humphrey. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
