She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Simpson (Teetle) and Alline Milby Simpson; her daughter Laura Lee Blackwood; her brother Charlie Simpson; her nephew Ken Simpson; her niece Angie Heath; her brothers-in-law, Steve "Butch" Jewell and Doyle Bishop; and her pets, Scooby and Buddy.
She is survived by : her husband Orville Lee Blackwood; her son Scotty; her daughter-in-law Virginia Blackwood of Crocker; her brother Winfred; her sister-in-law Glenda Simpson; her sisters, Willow Dean Jewell, Elaine Bishop and Mitzi (Randall Heath); her sister-in-law Elaine Simpson; and her aunt Eugenia Simpson of Greensburg. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
