He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest L. "Jug" Dietrich and Elizabeth Gowseiow (Griffin); his wife Anastasia M. "Nan" Dietrich (Piel); and his siblings-in-law, Edward Piel and Esther Kozney.
He is survived by: his children, Mary (Mark Reckerd) of Edgar Springs, Robert (Michelle Dietrich) of O'Fallon, Kevin Dietrich of Cuba, Elizabeth Stout of Kingsville and Nattelle Dietrich of Jefferson City; his brother Robert (Bonnie Dietrich) of St. Charles; and his siblings-in-law, Josephine Coulson of Barnhart, Patricia Sparks of St. Charles and John (Pam Piel) of Lake. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
