He is survived by: his wife Dawn Annette Bruce (Blackmon); his son James Ryan Bruce (Mary); his stepson Tyler Dye; his grandsons, James Ryan Bruce, Jr. (JR) and Ethan Morse Bruce; his brothers, James Kent Bruce (Cathy), Clifton Bruce (Beverly) and Mark Bruce (Grace); his siblings' children, Alex (Edie Bruce), Dawn (Bob Akerson), Lori Bruce Bulen, Mary (Bobby Karigan), Stacy (Mike Embry), Mark (Victoria Fries) and Molly (Raphael Fernandez); his brothers, Jim Brown and Joe Cushing; his parents-in-law, Arnold and Toni Rae Blackmon; and his siblings-in-law, Scott Blackmon (Valerie), Timmy Blackmon (Gaye) and Kim Stringer (John).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization that was very near and dear to Kerry.
