He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Eugene Drummonds; and his brothers, William "Tom" Drummonds and Donald Drummonds. He is survived by: his wife Jane A. Drummonds (Hulsey); his daughters, Leslie Leimbach (Mark) and Lori Crump; and his grandchildren, Brett Leimbach, Kylie Leimbach, Jordan Crump and Jaida Crump.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church of Desloge.
