He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Rosco" and Lucy Ann Farmer (Ruggles); and his siblings, Levella Gold, Hortense Davis, Ruth Elledge, Roxine Gaines Terrill, Lawanda Farmer, Yvonne Taylor, Frankie Kinder, Charles Farmer, Raymond Farmer, Robert Farmer (Bob), Ernest, Earl Farmer and Jim Farmer.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Charles Farmer of St. Clair and Jonathan "Jon" Allen Farmer (Adrienne) of Wappapello, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Kaylie, Caleb (Sarah Farmer), Jonathan "Jonny" Farmer of Essex, Missouri, Kaitlynn (John Robert Powers) and Mason (Gauge Farmer). He is also survived by his wife, sons, grandchildren, his nieces and nephews and all his extended family.
