He was predeceased by: his parent Mark Ellis; his granddaughter Sarah Williams; his great grandchild Corena Williams; and his siblings, Bob Crocket, Leslie Ellis, George Ellis, Daniel Ellis, Frankie Ellis and Betty Johnson.
He is survived by: his parent Mae Walker; his children, Tony Ellis (Patricia) of Dexter, Debbie Darnell (Greg) of Poplar Bluff and Sherrie Montgomery (Ron) of Dexter; and his brother David Ellis of Kennett. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
