He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert McGuire and Oble Fenton; his spouse Louise Sewell; his son James McGuire of Dexter; his siblings, Charles McGuire of Columbus, B. A. McGuire, Raymond McGuire, Barbara Fulford of Dexter, Susie Sewell and Sharon Asbell; and his son Johnny Allan McGuire. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
