With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D. Minton (Dexter, Missouri), born in Malden, Missouri, who passed away on February 25, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Shipman and Ruth Cook Shipman; his spouse Julia Ann Leverich; and his brother Roy Minton. He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Bess (Dain) of Dexter and Traci Minton; his siblings, Paul Minton of West Virginia, Charles Shipman of Dexter, Missouri, Jean Silver of Nashville, Meredith Gray of Nashville and Carol Rainey (Palastine) of Texas; and his granddaughters, Cassidy Paige Bess and Sydney Ann Bess. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
