With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verlon Phillips (Dexter, Missouri), who passed away on November 16, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Phillips and Sylvia Nole; his daughter Linda Jean Phillips; and his siblings, Vernon Phillps, Vernie Phillips, Vance Phillips, Vick Phillips, Vester Phillips and Ida Azella Phillips.

He is survived by: his spouse Teshia Inadel Boley; his son Robert Phillips; his sister Loretta Izola Luttrel of Memphis; and his grandsons, Bobby, Tony Phillips and Mark Cox. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
