He was predeceased by: his parent George Thomas Jackson; and his siblings, Roosevelt Jackson, William "Jack" Jackson, Harvey Jackson, Jessie Jackson, Claude Jackson, Donald Jackson and Mary Tate.
He is survived by: his parent Mattie Posiey; his sons, Mark Jackson (Susan) of Cape Girardeau and Gary Jackson (Shelia) of Dexter; his sisters, Iva Gipford (Bill) and Nina Jackson; his grandchildren, Brandi Reyna, Becky Moore, Travis Jackson, Corey Jackson, Ashlee Jackson, Nichole Clippard and Dwaun Thiele; his great grandchildren, Daniel Petty, Skylar Jackson, Adrianna Jackson, Hilary Moore, Kaitlynn Moore, Anasten Jackson, William Jackson, Nora Jackson, Brendin Thiele, Adrian Thiele and John Clippard; and his wife Jo Ann.
