She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Lee and Ama Hawkins (Stamps); and her siblings, Brownie McNeely, Martha Anderson, Ben Hawkins and Joe Hawkins.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Matters; and her children, Jenny Parmley of Carthage, Jim (LaDonna Parmley), Jackie Anderson of Diamond and Julia (Brian Garrison). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home Granby Chapel (12787 B Hwy, Granby, MO 64844). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newtonia Ioof Cemetery (11659 Hwy M, Granby, MO 64844).
