He is survived by: his close friend Thomas Mengel; his wife Stephanie Surdyke; his children, Elliot Surdyke (Lauren) of Fenton, Kasey Surdyke of Cedar Hill, Micaela Surdyke of Dittmer, Garret Surdyke of Kenosha, Ethan Surdyke of Cedar Hill and Sophie Surdyke of Cedar Hill, Missouri; his stepchildren, Hannah Cottrell of St. Louis and Chase Cottrell of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Skylar Surdyke, Silas Surdyke and Ezra Surdyke; his siblings, Gary Surdyke of Festus, Robert Surdyke (Maureen) of St. Peters, Missouri, Yvonne Muenks (Gene) of Orlando, Mary Berblinger of Chesterfield, Janet Burkot (Mark) of Dardenne Prairie, Michelle Stutts of Collinsville, Patrice Youngblood of Wayne City and Lisa Clark (Jay) of Wentzville; and his goddaughter Renee Creed (Chris). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews, and so many friends.
