She was loved and cherished by many people including : her son Gerald Thomas "Jerry" Melton, Jr.; her spouse Gerald Thomas "Tom" Melton, Sr.; and her daughters, Jaren Lee Melton of Jackson, MO, Janice Melton White of Doniphan, MO and Cathy Melton Kidd of Bend, OR. She was also cherished by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
