He was predeceased by : his parents, Vern Shepard and Lorene Shepard (Blankenship); his daughter Lesa Shepard; and his brother James "J. J.". He is survived by : his wife Karen Shepard (Gowin); his children, Karen Young (Rob) of Corning, Michael Shepard of Doniphan, Jason Shepard of Doniphan, Timothy Shepard (Cheyenne) of Doniphan and Crystal Shepard of Corning; and his siblings, Charles Shepard of Poplar Bluff, MO and Helen Lovelady of Corning. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
