She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Ward and Alta Smith Ward; and her spouse Jerry Neal Burton. She is survived by: her son Jerry Neal Burton; her grandchildren, Bethany (Spencer McCauley), Jerry Burton III, Logan (Chase Burton) and Nicholas Burton; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Charlotte and Rachel.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shelby Funeral Home (104 W Olive St, East Prairie, MO 63845). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
