He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Carter and RosaBelle Carter (Harvey); his sister Rosalie "Ann" Stebbins; his granddaughter Lanie Ann Watkins; and his son-in-law Travis Bryson.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Whited; his daughters, Kelly Bryson, Amy Pittsenbarger (Rusty) of Lamar and Tessie Watkins (Brandon); his grandchildren, Isabelle, Olivia, Sophia Bryson, Ethan (Sydney), Cora, Trey Pittsenbarger, Sadie, Anna and Carter Watkins; and his brother-in-law Albert. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Show-Me Christian Youth Home or Camp Galilee.
