He was predeceased by: his parents, Gravil Zortman and Irene Tupper Zortman; his wife Mary Burkland Whisler; and his sister Amy Jones. He is survived by: his children, Marlene Haller of Eldon, Laura Zortman and Larry Zortman of Iowa; his stepchildren, Allen Heckman of Tuscumbia, Martin Whisler of Boonville, LaVon Whisler of Huntsville, Ala and Sharlene Kammerich (Danny) of Boonville; and his sister Lois Hobbs of Lawton, Iowa. He is also survived by several grandchildren along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.
