He was predeceased by : his parents, Nora Lewis Allen and James Dilemal Allen; his wife Imogene Smith; his sisters, Nancy Allen and Doris Jean Allen Dove; his half-sister Vivian Ruth Hill; and his son-in-law Jerry "Butch" Walker.

He is survived by : his children, Jeffery Allen (Monica) of Ellington and Patricia Jean Walker of Ellington; his grandchildren, Angie Ruble (Mike), Amber Litters (Eric) and Jason Allen (Jenny); and his great grandchildren, Gabe, Wayland, Caden, Jasper, Ethan, Sadie and Annie.
