He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Behrends and Georgina Behrends (Sinnett); his great grandchild Lennon Hoyle; and his brother Richard "Dick" Behrends. He is survived by: his wife Sue Behrends of Excelsior Springs, MO; his daughter Billie Nicolay (Skye) of Nebr; his grandchildren, Jaycie Hoyle, Addison Hoyle, Layke Nicolay, Charlee Nicolay and Sawyer Nicolay; his great grandchildren, Louden, Layla and Nevaeh; his sisters-in-law, Renee Fiffe of Loveland, CO and Mary Behrends of Auburn, NE; and his nephew Andrew Behrends (Amy) of Auburn, NE.
Memorials may be given to the family for future designation.
