He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Wolverton and Anna Irene Wolverton (Thoresen); his stepfather Charles Gaul; his siblings, Louis Wolverton, Jr. and Mary Wolverton; and his uncle Harold Thoresen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Druscha Kincaid (Bruce), Elyse Finocchio (John), Valerie Schmidt, Rebecca McGurn (Sean), Robert Wolverton (Pam) and Carrie Mentink (Jeff). He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater KC in care of the funeral home.
