He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benda and Cecilia Benda; and his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his children, Joel (Deidre Benda) and Jennifer Benda; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nakyla, Lance, Landon and Kacee; his pet Lucky; and his siblings, Bobbi, Jan, Marguerite, Gerri, Greg, Tom and Marc.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a charitable donation to any animal shelter or animal organization in his name.
