He is survived by: his wife Becky Sterling; his children, Shannon Gilpin (Shannon), Stephanie Kommel (Chris), Charles Sterling, James Leroy Sterling Jr. (Brandy) and Daniel Sterling; his siblings, Marilyn DeNio (Patrick), Janet Olson, Leland Sterling (Barbra) and William Sterling (Betty); and his friend Laura Davis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and his beloved grandchildren.
