She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Halterman and Juanita Halterman; her husband Jim Hurt; and her brother Lee. She is survived by: her son Chris Hurt; her daughter-in-law Patricia Hurt; her granddaughters, Alexandria Hurt, Claudia Hurt and Mallory Hurt; and her brother Richard Halterman.
