He is survived by: his wife Connie Howard; his children, Scott Kice (Kim), Jerry McPherson and John Howard Jr. (Sonny); his sister Kathryn Smith; and his grandchildren, Alivia Gillispie, Tristen Kice, Cody Kice, Gavin Kice, Kaitlyn Whiteaker, Jaden McPherson and Faythe Kelley.
