With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Josef Weigel (Excelsior Springs, Missouri), born in Sabetha, Kansas, who passed away on May 23, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Catherine Marie (Cathy) and Peter Josef (Pete); his daughter-in-law Amy; and his wife Mary Lawless.

Marion Josef (Joe) Weigel died 5/23/20 at the age of 96, taken by Covid-19.

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to the Sierra Club or Doctors Without Borders.
