He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marion O'Dell and Ruby O'Dell (Siegel); his wife Jean; his sister Donna Werle; his children, Jean Ann and Jerry O'Dell; his grandchildren, David Pavlich, Dan Pavlich, Donnie Pavlich, Dana Radmacher (Pavlich), Dennis Pavlich, Bret O'Dell, Chase O'Dell, Ty O'Dell, Katy Boyd (Stimac) and Julie Webb (Stimac); his friend Kathy Stimac; and also Danelle. He was also cherished by 26 great-grandchildren; three nieces.
