It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norman Deckard of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Deckard and Gusta Deckard; his brother Donald Jay Deckard; and his half-brother Lowell Vance Davis. He is survived by: his wife Anita Deckard; his daughters, Dana Chadwick (Lance) and Tonya Mitchell (Sam); and his grandchildren, Bennett Chadwick, Evan Chadwick, Sam Mitchell and Tessa Mitchell. He is also survived by niece and nephews; and many other family and friends.
There will be no formal visitation due to concerns about Covid, but a funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20 at 10:00 a. m.
