He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ona Wilson Lawson and Martin Lawson; his wife Georgia Ann Farris; his grandson Alex Ashcraft; his children, Janet Ashcraft and Michael Lawson; his grandsons, Bradley Lawson of Excelsior Springs and Zachary Lawson of Independence; and his son-in-law Kenn Ashcraft. He was also cherished by four sisters/brothers-in-laws who he loved as blood relatives.
