He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Marrant and Lucy Marrant (Jones); his wife Ruby Jane Marrant; his son Kevin Marrant; his stepson Troy Holman; and his siblings, Lucy Dirck, Mary Goolsby, Justin and George Marrant.
He is survived by: his son Mike (Sarah Marrant); his grandchildren, Havin, Clayton and Camille "Mille" Marrant; his siblings, Robert, Henry, Ricky, Gary, Billy Marrant, Alida McKee and Brenda Jones; and his stepchildren, Sherry Ballinger, Tammy Forte, Lanny Holman, Ranny Holman, Willie Holman and Jowana Marie Dye. He is also survived by 17 step-grandchildren and 22 step-great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Excelsior Springs Animal Center.
