Ruth Shaffer-Altiser Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Shaffer-Altiser (Excelsior Springs, Missouri), born in Lucerne, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, John Edgar and Dolly Ann Fry (Duncan); her spouses, William Earl Shaffer and Carl Altiser; her children, James Shaffer (Linda) of Springfield, MO and Linda Wuckowitsch (Bob) of Kansas City, MO.; her daughter-in-law Lynda Shaffer of San Antonio, TX.; her son John Shaffer; her grandchild Paul Shaffer; her brother Charles Fry; and her daughter-in-law Linda Shaffer. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Donations in Ruth's memory are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society and may be entrusted with Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
