She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Root and Bethel Root (Brotzman); her former husbands, Walter Knutson and Gene Brewer; and her sister Carol Whimpey.
She is survived by: her sisters, Janice Root and Maxine Lamb; and her children, Mike Knutson (Karen), Mark Knutson (Sandy), Debi Hagler (David) and Wayne Knutson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
