She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Milligan and Anna Milligan (Baker) of Knoxville; her husband Arthur Eugene "Gene" Elam; and her siblings, J. W., Everett "Gene", Marshall, Morris Jr., Billy Joe Milligan, Josephine Sanderson and Livinia "Francis" Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Randy, Rhonda Amos and Mark Elam (Deanna); her sister Lois Biggs (Bill); her grandchildren, Kelly, Tracy, James, Jennifer and Emily; her great grandchildren, Quinten, Trevor, Damon, Ava, Lincoln, Truman, Franklin, Madden, Ella and Berkley; and her great great grandchild Berkleigh.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
