She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy B Carris and Maxine Carris. She is survived by : her husband Leland Courtney III (Fair Grove); her children, Robert (Fair Grove), Brittany (Ash Grove) and Lori; her stepson Leland IV (Rogersville); her sister Eleanor Sutter; and her grandchildren, Kylie, Kasandra and Alyoena. She is also survived by Extended family also includes in laws and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
