She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Louis and Hattie Mae Markham (Knight); her husband Junior Eugene "Gene" Sanford; her great grandchildren, T. J. Weiss and Deliah Fancher; and her siblings, Cora Bryant, Josephine Cole, Nina Reese, Bill Markham, Herb Markham, Alda Howard, Dorothy Cashon, Nellie Crowe, Margaret Imergoot, Roberta Ellis, Carrie Lewis and John Markham.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Carroll (Dave), Harold "Ray" Fancher and Hattie "Bonnie" Sanford (Walter); her grandchildren, James Cottner (Roberta), Patricia Lachance (Rick), Kelly Young (Nathan) and Kayla Schoonover (Josh); her great grandchildren, Steven Waites (Stacey), Sara Slinger (Robert), Cody Cottner (Casey), Jesse Cottner (Lexi), Dustin Young (Maddie) and Jameson Schoonover; her great great grandchildren, Eli, Olivia, Amelia Waites, Peytin, Haylee Hill, Jackson Slinger, Haven Cottner, Tiara, Mary and Charles, Jr.; and her sister Dixie Risher. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Desloge Chapel (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Teresa's memory.
