She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Daniel and Caroline Lucille Herndon (Nicosia); and her siblings, Dan Herndon and Judy Deveydt. She is survived by: her children, Laurie A. Volkert and Michael D. Volkert, Jr.; her grandchildren, Haley D. Volkert, Brianna Volkert, Abbigail Pogue, Quinton Volkert and Raelyn Volkert; her sisters, Betty Pruitt and Nancy Hafner; her pet Scrappy; and her friends, Marissa, Nora, Elisa, Rae, Sandy, Kathy, Gayla and Angie.
