He is survived by: his wife Alice Hillis of Fenton; his sons, William "Brett" Hillis and Douglas Pyle; his grandchildren, William "Brett" Hills Jr., Nicki Lenay Pyle, Tiffany Lynn Pyle, Samantha Joann Pyle and Spencer Douglas Pyle; his great grandchildren, Braxton Edward Haid, Nova Lynn Pyle and Drake Scanlon; and his siblings, James "Jim" Hillis and Helen Fischer.
