He was predeceased by : his parents, Tom Syron and Nora Syron; his stepson Joshua Nelson; his brother-in-law Tim McCabe; and his sister Bridie Payton.

He is survived by : his daughter Brittany; his stepchildren, Ryan Nelson, Alyssa Kamacho, Amber Watkins (Kenny) and Angela Kamacho; and his siblings, Helen Syron, Thomas Syron (Kim), Mary Chrismer (Pat) and Theresa McCabe.
