He was predeceased by : his son Bernard "Bernie" J. Laws; his parents, Riley J. Laws Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Laws; and his siblings, Justin Laws and Mary Nolen.
He is survived by : his wife Beatrice M. Laws of Festus; his children, Kenneth E. Laws (Tammy) of Imperial and Louanne R. Kothe (Dave) of Hillsboro; and his sister Elizabeth "Betty" R. Shrum of Lake St. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
