He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Dechert and Myrtile Dechert (Small); his grandson Tyler Dechert; and his brothers, Homer, Richard, Joe and James.
He is survived by : his wife Cheryl; his children, Brian, Bob Dechert, Shawn Barton (Steve) and Lesley Dechert; his grandchildren, Samantha Dechert and Vincent Dechert; his great grandchildren, Will, Elly Mae, Jolynn, Leon and Rowan; his siblings, Ralph Dechert, Leroy Dechert (Anna-Mae) and Betty Dechert; and his granddaughter-in-law Amber Dechert. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
