He was predeceased by: his father Allen Waggoner; and his sister Susan Waggoner. He is survived by: his wife Martha Taylor; his mother Jerry Ann of Oregon; his brothers, David Waggoner of Oregon and Robert Waggoner (Mary) of Helena, Missouri; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Chaney of St. Joseph, Tiffany Chaney of St. Joseph, Calvin Chaney of St. Joseph, Demetrick Chaney of St. Joseph, Kevin Chaney (Katie) and David "Bub" Chaney (Hunter); and his nieces and nephews, Rob Waggoner (Kristi) of Oregon, Lonnie Waggoner of Trenton, David Waggoner (Lacy) of Oregon, Josh Waggoner of Kansas City, Missouri, Rachel Trader (Ray) and Sharon Waggoner. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great nephews; and three great nieces.
Sonny became sick with Covid-19 and was hospitalized on Feb. 25, 2021.
