He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Shaffer (Falkingham) and Frank Shaffer; and his aunt Janet Miller (Falkingham). He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Schmidt (Shaffer); his granddaughter Avery Schmidt; his brother Mark "Doc" Shaffer; his sibling's children, Marquita Shaffer, Melissa Shaffer, Alexis Shaffer, Michael Shaffer and Matthew; and also Daniel Paswaters.
