He was predeceased by : his parents, Reuben Shirley and Izola Shirley (Hendricks). He is survived by : his wife Paula Holmes; his daughter Rachel Abbott (Shirley); his daughter-in-law Carla Abbott; and his brother Dennis Shirley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
