She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Brand and Clara Brand; and her siblings, Judy, Ada, Nancy, Kay and Donnie.

She is survived by : her husband Joe Howard; her children, Jeffrey Howard (Kerri) of Kansas City and Jennifer Meyer of Seneca; and her grandchildren, Hailey Howard, Jake Howard, Abby Meyer, Zach Howard and Tyler Meyer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Freeman Cancer Center.
