He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Leo and Cornelia Birke. He is survived by : his parents, Jayne Brinker (Keith) of Union, MO and John Birke; his sister Brittani Koelling of Ankeny, IA; his nephews, Chase and Ryker Koelling of Ankeny, IA; and his grandparents, Herman, Edna Waidmann of Gerald, MO, Othmar and Verlin Brinker of Washington, MO. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Union High School Foundation for a memorial in Kurt's name.
