He was predeceased by : his parents, Wiley Gilkey and Naomi Martin Gilkey; his wife Peggy Henson; his sons, Joey Gilkey and Steve Gilkey; and his siblings, Ruby Wiles, Thurmon Gilkey, Joe Gilkey, Dean Gilkey and Bobby Gilkey.
He is survived by : his daughter Dana Gilkey of Gideon; his grandsons, David Eric Murphy (Becky) and Benjamin Leon Murphy; his great grandchildren, Damain Murphy of Gideon, Serenity Murphy of Gideon, Joey Murphy of Gideon, Lilly Nall of Gideon, John Murphy of Gideon and Anna Murphy of Gideon; his siblings, Bill Gilkey (Carolyn) of Texas, Reva Crane of Enterprise, AL, Dorothy Hankins (Jessie) of Florida, Wanda Terry of Malden and LaVada Oswald of Louisiana; his sister-in-law Patty Furno of Wappappello, MO; and his friend Heather Holman Coon of Gideon. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
