It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Opal Chance of Gideon, Missouri, born in Doniphan, Missouri, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Brooks and Gustie "Collins" Brooks; her husband Neil Huckabee; and her brothers, Charles Brooks, Claude Brooks and Sterling Brooks.
She is survived by : her sons, Herman Lee Huckabee of Gideon, Roy Neal Huckabee of Gideon, Calvin Wayne Huckabee of Poplar Bluff and Roger Huckabee of Campbell; and her sister Carlene Gilbert of Poplar Bluff. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
