He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Floyd, Rose Gwinn (Cox), Donald L. and Mareta Rankin (Marshall); and his aunt Mavis Ann Rankin.

He is survived by: his parents, Donald K. Rankin and Diana L. Rankin (Gwinn); and his aunts, Kathy S Chambers (Gary) and Lisa K. McCreath (Dennis) of Fairfax, MO.
